In singles, Serbian Star Novak Djokovic won Record 23rd Grand Slam after defeating Casper Ruud in Roland Garros 2023 Final. Djokovic defeat Norwegian star in straight set (7-6, 6-3, 7-5). Casper Ruud lost back to back Final of French Open. (Nadal defeated Casper in 2022). Soderling (2009 and 2010) and Ruud (2022 and 2023) lose two straight Roland Garros finals (0-3) vs. Big Three.

Djokovic equalize the record with Serena Williams by winning 23 Grand Slams while he is the only men player to win 23 title, following by Rafael Nadal 22 grand slams and Roger Federer 20 Grand slams. Djokovic won 3 Roland Garros titles, 7 Wimbledon Championships, 10 Australian Open and 3 US open.

In doubles championship, Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek charged to their maiden major title as a team in style at the French Open 2023 with a convincing 6-3, 6-1 victory against Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen. Dodig and Krajicek suffered a heartbreaking loss to Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer in the Roland Garros final last year. The American-Croatian duo won handsome prize money worth of €590,000.

In 2022, combined men and women total Prize money of French Open was €43.6 million. As compared to 2021, it was 26.9% increased prize money. Winner of 2022 singles got €2,200,000 and runner-up took cheque for €1,100,000. On other side in doubles winner had €580,000 and finalist put €290,000 in their pockets.

The tournament will have 128 singles and 64 doubles draws that will be released as the event progresses. French Open officials have confirmed the 2023 draw will take place on Wednesday, May 24 (local time) with no time set in stone just yet. Entry is free but Tick is required for this event.
