Barcelona Open, also known as Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, is one of the oldest tennis tournaments in Spain. The event was founded in 1953 and this year it will be 70th edition in 2023 which starts on 17 April and the final will play on 23 April.

Carlos Alcaraz defend his title after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas. Spanish star Carlos Alcaraz became the first tennis player since Rafael Nadal to defend his Barcelona Open title by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3, 6-4 in the final on Sunday.
In doubles championship At the Barcelona ATP, Argentinian pair Máximo González and Andrés Molteni defeated no 1 seed pair and defended champion Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski by 6-3, 6-7(8), 10-4. Fourth title for winning pair (since 2022), 15th title in doubles for González, 14th for Molteni, they will be 5th in the Race to the Masters.

It is Spain’s second most important tournament on the ATP Tour after the Madrid Open and the event generally takes place in the last week of April, when temperatures in Barcelona average a daily high of 19 °C (66 °F).
