Nordea Swedish Open 2024 Players List, Prize Money, Schedule
The Swedish Open or Bastad Open 2024, also known as Nordea Open, for sponsorship reasons, is an upcoming professional tennis tournament to be played on outdoor clay courts as part of the ATP Tour 250 Series of the 2024 ATP Tour.
It will take place in Båstad, Sweden, from 15 through 21 July 2024 for the men’s tournament. It will be the 76th edition of the event for the ATP tour.

Swedish Open consists of 250 level ATP tour. There will be 32 Main singles draw and 16 Main doubles draw. The tournament will play on the outdoor clay court of Båstad Tennis Stadium, Sweden.

Swedish Open 2024 Results
In singles, Nuno Borges claimed the first ATP title of his career. Portugal’s Nuno Borges played the match of his life to comfortably beat Rafael Nadal 6-3 6-2 in the final of the Swedish Open and claim the first ATP title of his career. While in the doubles, Rafael Matos and Orlando Luz (3) defeated Gregoire Jacq and Manuel Guinard, 7-5, 6-4.

ATP Swedish Open History and Winners
The Swedish Open was first held in 1948 when it was called the International Swedish Hard Court Championships. Between 1970 and 1989 the men’s event was part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit.
From 1948 to 1990, there was also a women’s singles tournament. After the Nordic Light Open in Stockholm was sold, it was announced that the women’s event would return to Båstad. Since 2009 the Collector Swedish Open Women in Båstad has been an International-level tournament. In 2018 the women’s tournament license was sold and it was held in Moscow (Russia) as Moscow River Cup from 22 to 27 July 2018. However, in 2019, the tournaments was reinstated as WTA 125K series tournament.
Winners
The first three tournaments were won by Eric Sturgess from South Africa. Other famous champions include Ilie Năstase (1971), Björn Borg (1974, 1978–1979), Mats Wilander (1982–1983, 1985), and Rafael Nadal (2005).

In 2024, total commitment of Bastad event is €651,865 where as prize money of event will be €579,320. Champion of Swedish open 2024 will receive €88,125 and doubles champions will have €30,610.
In 2023 and 2022, the total prize money was be €562,815 and €534,555. While In 2021 total prize money was€419,470 due to Covid Pandemic.

The event will have 32 singles and 16 doubles draws that will be released as the tournament progresses. 4 qualifiers will join 28 singles main draw entries in 1st round.
