ATP Croatia Open 2022 Champions

2022 Croatia open belongs to all Italians. In 2022 singles champion, Italian star Jannik Sinner plays an incredible final to beat defending champion Carlos Alcaraz from Spain with 6-7(5), 6-1, 6-1. This is 6th career title for the Italian and First title on clay.

On other side in doubles, Italian pair Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli defeat British star Lloyd Glasspool and Finland star Harri in the final with 5-7,7-6,10-7.

Croatia Open Umag History and Winners

The tournament began in 1990 when it was part of Yugoslavia, and is the oldest tennis tournament in Croatia. It began as the Yugoslav Open and has been played every year since. It is played on outdoor red clay courts. Carlos Moyá has won the tournament a record five times; he also holds the record for the most consecutive wins at three. His most recent win was in 2007. In 2016, the center court stadium was named after Croatian tennis player Goran Ivanišević.

In 2023, total commitment of Umag event is €630,705 where prize money of event will be €562,815. Champion of Croatia open 2023 will receive €85,605 and doubles champions will have €29,740.

In 2022, the total prize money of the Croatia Open is €534,555 where singles champion will get a cheque of  €41,145 and runner-up will get €29,500. In doubles championship, winning pair will have €15,360 and runner-up will receive €11,000 with them.
