The Halle Open, also known as Terra Wortmann Open, is a well-established tournament that has been played every year since 1993. The tournament takes place on grass courts, and the venue is Halle, in the city of Halle, Westphalia. Halle has been categorized at the ATP tour 500 events. This tournament was played on an outdoor grass court surface.
The Halle Open is held at the same time as the Queens Club Championships. One of the two are seen as the primary warm-up tournaments for the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament, also on grass courts, which begins towards the end of June. The event was upgraded in 2015 from a 250 series to a 500 series tournament.

Halle Open 2024 Results
In the singles, Jannik Sinner beats Hubert Hurkacz in the final in Halle with a double 7-6, winning the 14th title of his career, the 1st on grass. He played his first tournament as world number one, and got maiden victory on grass. Jannik now has 5 ATP 500 level title, the 4th in a row. He becomes the third Italian after Seppi and Sonego to have at least one title on every surface.
While in the doubles, top seeded Italian pair Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli defeated seeded no 2 German Pair Kevin Krawietz and Tim Putz in straight sets 7-5, 7-6.

The Halle Open, a men’s tennis tournament held in Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has been a prominent event since 1993. The tournament takes place on four outdoor grass courts and is classified as part of the ATP Tour 500 series on the ATP Tour schedule.
Previously sponsored by Gerry Weber from 1993 to 2018, and later by Noventi from 2019 to 2021, a change in primary sponsor and name was announced in December 2021. Since 2022, the tournament will be known as the Terra Wortmann Open.

Roger Federer has an impressive record in the singles category, holding the record for the most overall titles at the tournament with ten victories out of thirteen finals. He also holds the record for the most consecutive titles, winning four in a row from 2003 to 2006. In doubles, Raven Klaasen has the most titles with three. Additionally, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, Rajeev Ram, Łukasz Kubot, and Marcelo Melo co-hold the record for consecutive titles, each achieving two in a row.
